Private lessons and chamber music for all in Greater Boston
In 2011, musiConnects made its BPS residency programming available to anyone residing in the Greater Boston area. Now, youth outside the Chittick and Sumner Schools may study with members of the Boston Public Quartet and musiConnects Guild in private lessons and participate in a chamber music experience that is customized, through new compositions, to fit their level through the Chamber Kids program.
Lesson Rates
Tuition fees compensate teachers and cover rental costs of the Roslindale studio space. Lessons are offered on a sliding scale. If you would like to be considered for a sliding scale tuition, please note this in the comment box of the contact form below. Note: Private lesson students need to provide their own rented instrument from Johnson Strings in Newton. If you require a scholarship instrument please indicate this on the contact form.

Chamber KidsChamber Kids seeks to bring young musicians together from different backgrounds and neighborhoods to experience chamber music - the music of friends! Tuition is affordable for all families. Students must already be enrolled in private lessons through musiConnects or another program. Bethany United Methodist Church
We are grateful for the generous donation of space for Chamber Kids. The church is centrally located at 100 Cummins Highway in Roslindale, with parking available at the Irving Middle School across the street.
