Now in its 19th season, musiConnects fosters youth development and community connection through the craft of string playing. Our accessible, imaginative education and performance programs build lasting relationships between professional musicians, students, and residents in the Boston neighborhoods of Roslindale and Mattapan, and surrounding neighborhoods.

In the 2025-26 season, musiConnects will engage 70 students in sliding-scale or tuition-free private lessons and group classes at our Roslindale studio and additional students in tuition- free group classes in partnership with Mattahunt Elementary. Our students also engage in performance opportunities, and present a series of concerts - featuring our faculty Resident Musicians and students, side-by-side - in community spaces such as libraries, community centers, and parks.
